Important Special Announcement From USCIS
USCIS to Conduct Second Round of H-1B FY 2025 Regular Cap Selections; No Additional Selections for Advanced Degree Exemption

Special Announcement!
In March, USCIS conducted a random selection of electronic registrations for the FY 2025 H-1B cap, including for advanced degree exemptions, with selected petitioners eligible to file H-1B petitions from April 1 to June 30, 2024. To meet the FY 2025 regular cap, USCIS will soon conduct a second round of random selection from previously submitted registrations, notifying selected petitioners of their eligibility to file. This second selection will not include advanced degree exemptions as enough registrations for this category have already been selected. Updated selection notices will be posted in USCIS online accounts, providing filing details.
