USCIS Announcement - Parole in Place!📢

As many of you have heard, on August 19th, 2024, USCIS announced the launch of a new discretionary program named “Keeping Families Together.” This unique program allows the spouses and stepchildren of U.S. citizens to obtain parole in place in the United States, which could later lead to obtaining lawful permanent residence (i.e., green card). Some of the primary requirements are that the applicant entered the United States without being inspected and admitted (known as “EWI”), is married to a U.S. citizen before June 17th, 2024, and has resided in the United States for at least 10 years as of June 17th, 2024, through the date of filing the application.
